Dennis Hamilton was elected president of the Tennessee State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers for the 2010 term. He is General Manager of Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery where he has worked for the last twenty five years. He graduated from John A. Gupton College in 1974 and has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1975. He was president of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association for the 1993-1994 term.

The TFDA promotes high ethical standards and continuing education in the funeral service.

Amy Puckett received a degree in mortuary science for funeral director and embalming, from John A. Gupton College in December 2008. Previous to moving to Nashville, she received a Bachelor's of Arts in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University. During her time at WKU she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and served as Pi Kappa Alpha Sweetheart 2005-2006. After being on the Tennessee Donor Services Recovery Team, Amy is the newly appointed Funeral Home/Medical Examiner Liaison for the Middle Tennessee area. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with funeral homes and medical examiners throughout the area. She looks forward to working with funeral directors in Middle Tennessee and bridging the gap for the greater good of the community.
